What you'd expect from someone who uses 12 point sockets

I found two 12mm, nice, sockets embedded in the oil/dust goop on a 4x4 skid plate once. Was an engine donor truck.

On the flip side of the coin, does this topic bring back a recollection of some time where you were so exasperated working on something, lost a tool, nut or bolt and just said eff it I ain't digging in there to retrieve it?

When I've hit that point its always been a big, ol' STOP sign. PUt down the tools, wash up and make a sandwich. Watch cartoons or some silly cowboy movie. Too wound up. Then, go back to the repair.

People that think Toro lawnmowers are just for cutting grass are kinda mistaken - seems ours is used once or so a summer to find parts or small tool bits lost in tall summer grass . . . there's even an audible signal when they do!

What about pressure circumstances like get the engine swap fully buttoned up before the snow storm hits? I find I just get slower and slower the more tired I get, mentally confirming I'm not pulling an omission or bonehead move.

I was working on the mini, the high flow lever lost its pin so I pulled the top cover off new pin installed. Then putting the top cover back on I dropped one of the bolts and it fell under the engine. It had a good life up top now it rides in the belly of the beast never to see daylight again.
