Heavy equipment hauling

I bought a truck 1800 plus miles away in Colorado and am looking to have a trucking company make the trip bringing it home with on a low boy.
Anyone have experience or recommendation's for quality hauler to get this done! Thanks!

When I bought my chip truck from @chiselbit I had it moved from CA to WA, and found someone through uship.com. Make an account, add in some details and you will get a ton of shipping estimates within hours, or at least that was my experience. Mostly what they want to know is how wide it is, to make sure it doesn't require oversize moving permits. That will give you a good price ballpark, even if you wind up going elsewhere. It went about 900 miles and cost me about $2,600. Not cheap, but sure easier than getting it myself. Had the hauler bring it right where I wanted it.

great info I’ll look into uship thanks

I just hired a low boy from NC to CO, I would use the same outfit again they were just great. I can pm you some contacts if you'd like

I’m bombarded with uships on my email right now I’m going over ! Hahahaha
Looking like another 8k or so for lowboy hauler with ins. Mc# and irp cab card 1822 miles

That is a long haul…. They’d possibly be empty coming back too (not your problem though) Is the 8k worth it to keep the wear and tear off your rig/tires etc…..? I feel like the lowboy buys you a safety net that would be lost driving it out. Tough decision man.

Your saying everything I’m thinking

I'd love to see a grapple saw on a trailer going down the highway. But then I'd probably try to get around it really quick. Congrats on the purchase Aaron hope it goes well for you!
Thank Levi me too I’ve been running a kaboom for couple years now and it’s time for a little more length and a grapple saw-on the end of it when I want it ! Comes with man basket as well and it’s not any bigger size wise than my current crane which is spectacular in its own right
