Health insurance

Small Sole proprietorship, no employees as of yet. My wife is my groundie but has a fulltime job. We currently get our health insurance through her employer. Hers is a benefit and I pay for mine. We have grown quicker than we had expected and currently cant keep up with the work we have with her only helping limited hours. We are considering her going part-time at her current job so she can help more. Our biggest concern seems to be health insurance.

Wondering what you small guys do and if there is some sort of group plan for tree guys?

Thanks.

We purchase directly through the ins co. (Blue cross). Each of the three renewals, the cost has gone up, but it is still on average with obomacare’s market place coverage. Another consideration might be to contract a trusted landscape company for ground help. The cost benefits of not buying Heath insurance might be worth it. Unfortunately I don’t think there is a “group”. I wish there was to help out the little guys with health, GL and the big one WC.

I use Liberty heath share. It's affordable, and complies with Obama Care. There is quite a bit it doesn't cover, such as reproductive health, and mental health. I use it more as a major medical plan. Popped my toe like a grape, and treated for a open fracture no issues and no bills.. Its a Christian Health Share, and while I am not I do agree with the principles requested.
