Renewing this thread with Kask maintenance question. I have been wearing a Kask for a few years and am pleased with the comfort however it stinks up quickly in the summer. I usually take it home and throw it in the dishwasher but this NEEDS to happen every 3 to 4 days. How much trouble is it to disassemble the helmet from the comm set for maintenance and do they offer this for Petzyl?

Just two Allen head screws a piece of Velcro and unclip your muffs.EZPZ. I recently put a system on my Protos. Also very easy.

Tried out a com system from Luke and Nick at tree stuff..
Just amazing the difference in energy on the crew...
instead of yelling over the equipment and the inevitable frustration that leads to when any little thing goes wrong, we were just cracking jokes and making fun of a big leaning oak removal over the house.. was a $3,200 tree... we changed strategy for the wood with whispers. Went flawlessly.. everyone felt relaxed and had a great day... STRESS RELIEF! You can't put a price tag on that..
