guying a big doug fir

Tree is still standing. I'm going to try and get a few pics.
The tree is within a hedge, hence the reason it was important to my client. The side that neeEd to be anchored was facing the neighbors property. I spoke with the neighbor, he said he was cool with us using his property. Once he saw the duckbills and cables at the end of theday, he changed his tune. So, the current situation pits the neighbors against each other. I have to find another way to keep the tree upright. There are trees on either side of It I could cable to...but the tension wouldn't be coming from the correct direction. I was thinking concrete footing and a large brace?
