gut feeling

Last night this weird feeling came over me about a job lined up for Monday morning. We all know that we as tree men take such big risk just doing what we safely do .The job was a hollowed oak leaning over a house with a crack going 10 ft up from base and possible root rot just from quick glance due to this week and a half rain spell but being such a large established oak the crack seemed to be the immediate issue that led to removal. Chained w boom the cracked tree. lined a crane up for Monday and started the weekend. this morning I got a call the tree fell. I pictured a house smashed and a customer in rage. Turned out the tree up rooted and landed on the drive way chain and boom still in place and the tree still together I cant help but think that tree could of easily up rooted with us in it.. Seems like someone is watchin out for this poor ole tree dog.
