Ground set redirect eraser

I've played with this enough now that I believe it has potential. My initial run was with a heavier pulley and carabiner as well as a half inch pull line, and the lanyard clip had trouble holding the weight.
This lighter setup takes a good pull to free from any height that I have tried, and it seems to have no chance of doing anything fishy with my wrench if it happens to get knocked off before I take a redirect.
The target climbs for this technique are mostly sprawling prunes where there is a lot of movement in the canopy with relatively little material removed. I've considered using one of those pull sticks like @moss was playing with for retrievable redirects. It may work well to keep the eraser line secure until it is time to retrieve.

Anyway, this is what I've been playing with. Come talk trash or take ideas.20190819_125515.webp

I like the idea, but I think for me it's simpler to just use a ring and ring canopy anchor if I'll have many natural redirects.
I'm also focusing on things that save time and effort in Masters climbs, and the rings are really the best at retrieving, but they are slow to set, even when you are practiced. There is also a box for innovative techniques and equipment.

Just to get me up to speed, is that a releasable grab to keep the pulley away from the cinching anchor? I should probably research more on the redirect eraser.

The releasable grab keeps the pulley from being in your face, removing the need to go to your tie in before taking redirects to set up something that retrieves easily.
