Great Parks of Hamilton County is accepting applications for a Part Time Urban Forestry Survey Technician to assist our Arbor team. A successful Urban Forestry Technican performs evaluation and location tracking of trees in parks, primarily in natural areas. This employee proceeds alone or is paired with other employees. Refers unusual or difficult problems or situations to immediate supervisor.
This position will be located in Glenwood Gardens.

Utilizes guidance from paper maps and digital handheld Global Positioning System (GPS) devices to locate trees, identifies trees to genera and sometimes species level, evaluates tree health, tags and locates position of trees with GPS equipment. Answers questions from adjoining property owners and general public. Exhibits regular and punctual attendance.
