Good deal on Sterling HTP

I think it's a good deal for the rope. I bought a spool 660' for about $530 shipped to Hawaii. I split it with a friend. That was a while back, but maybe if you ask they can get a spool. I can't find it on their site now.

Well that may be a good deal, but I'm not sure what size they're selling. Sterling HTP is usually measured in mm, not inches, and the prices at Treestuff are $150 for 9mm or $160 for 10mm.

3/8" is roughly 9.5mm, so not sure who has a better deal.

Okay, looked at the breaking strengths, it's the 10mm variety. Looks like a good deal, until you add in shipping, which is free at Treestuff.

I dunno what it comes out to now, when I bought it it was about 530 shipped to Hawaii. For 660 feet. They don't seem to have reels now listed. They may still sell them though. My bad if they don't. I just noticed someone happy about rope for a bit over a Buck a foot, and this was a bit under a Buck a foot.
