Good by osha?

So this leaves only State OSHA's and only in some states? Maybe the idea is to get each state to adopt whatever they need rather than have duplicate at the federal level. Might work if you have an overall framework they have to tow the line to.
But I will say the the US Federal occ health regs for e.g. chemical substances were often not updated for so long that they seemed silly at times. Hence many companies used ACGIH TLV's or even UK or EEC standards internally. Fed OSHA seemed mired in lawsuits and inertia - maybe they'll do something better. Glass half full or half empty? Best of luck.

James Madison, John Jay, and Alexander Hamilton would be happy.

But I'd be shocked if OSHA goes away. This is just a Senator doing something to appease some donors.

That’s misleading though I hear the refrain often. Two of three definitely owned slaves, all benefitted from, and wealth a direct product of enslaved people. Don’t think they would have given two fucks about general workplace safety for the masses. Children went to work at what age then? Not a plug for osha, just invoking “the founding fathers” is a major pet peeve of mine.

I was talking about their federalist views...and the 10th Amendment.

The federalist view would support states regulating worker safety over federal government.

That's all.
