General saddle question

For those responding about slipping buckles, unless I read the OP wrong, he is referring to the fact that while your weigh is on the saddle, the (non-life support portion) waist belt hangs loose due to the way the bridge pulls in on the harness. I don't think he is talking about the webbing belt actually slipping in the buckle and changing where it was set.

That is correct, thanks. Basically the D rings start at 16" and when weighted they are 12" apart causing some slack in the non life waist belt. I'm hoping somebody with a Cornell chimes in, I think we heard from a Treemotion owner.

In my case the Onyx plates are actually digging into my bottom ribs lately. Not sure what's going on; lose of weight, less clothing (padding); I need to readjust the saddle?

I initially had the same problem (I possibly should have bought the smaller size???).

When I couldn't find a way to adjust it out, I called NT and after a lengthy conversation, they suggested I add and additional 'butt strap' connected to the D-rings. This helped considerably and is the blue strap in the photo.

Try re-adjusting first and if that doesn't work, try adding the strap.

I made a bunch of adjustments yesterday and it is a little better. Pinching the waist is probably the term I was looking for, saw that used in a few videos yesterday. I will certainly try the additional but strap idea before I bail and get a MRCS. I actually have the size 1 Onyx and if it wasn't for the pinch and the rigging buckles digging into me I don't think I would even be looking at another saddle.
