Inspired by Mr Dunlap's latest post I have been thinking about adding one of these to our fleet. I want something that gets better mileage for bidding but isn't totally useless for gear transport or IPM inspections. I really like the modular aspect of these vehicles. You can switch out to cary gear or people. Im also thinking of the recreational value for hauling mountain bikes and car camping. Its also a great mobile billboard as they have alot of surface area for logo. I wish they had it in diesel. Anyone using these for tree ops?

If it was in my budget I'd be doing it for sure. I've thought about it for a while. With a nice vehicle wrap it would be great advertising.

I still need to get my first dump truck.

After I graduate in the spring I have been thinking of going into subcontracting. I have looked into this vehicle. Because all I have right now is a 92 eagle talon. It just wouldn't cut it.

I almost bought one last year. They are great on gas and gear. I decided to go with a box van because I can load our mini tractor in it and pull a trailer. If i had another option for the mini I defiantly would have bought one.

There are rumors of bringing the diesel version to the US in 2012. From what I've read that is a sweet combo in Europe.

Another odd US thing is that Ford does not condone pulling a trailer with the US version even though it is identical to the world model. HUH?!

Still...it might fit the needs of a small outfit.

Look carefully at the GVW numbers if you plan on hauling gear or material.
