We are selling our backup chipper. 2016 Altec DC1317HP.
It has appx 1700 hours. It's equipped with a winch, hydraulic crush, 13x17" feed opening, and a 140hp PSI 4.3L vortec engine. It starts every time and has lots of new parts.
Since we bought it in '23 we installed a new water pump, hoses, belts, spark plugs and wires, distributor, clutch, belt, anvil, tires, brakes, fluids, filters, and repainted it once. It's been greased religiously, leaks nothing, and needs nothing but to be used.
It comes with an extra belt, knives, manuals, and hardware.
It is an amazing machine, but we just don't use it enough. Our new chipper is a huge upgrade in efficiency and our little chipper can help someone else grow.
Parts are still made and available through Altec and PSI. It's a simple chipper and works really well for a lean one man operation. The winch pulls hard, and it will eat anything that will fit in the feed opening.
