Footlock strop neck lanyard

This is how I keep my strop/carabiner/bridge from dropping between my knees when footlocking. Length of throwline connected to accessory biner, then tied (prussik) to footlock strop. Biner clipped to collar of shirt.

Anyone like to share some techniques for keeping the srop out of your lap???

Maybe you need one of my bungee assisted footlock prusiks (BAFL Prusiks?!).

Nice idea with the little tiny prusik. Maybe an alligator clip would be handy there in place of the tiny 'biner?

ps- I can get pics of the bungee'd FLP tomorra

In T-shirt weather I simply clip the biner to the collar. When wearing a turtle-neck (as shown) I unzip the neck slightly and clip-in there.

So... anyone care to share some ideas?

I use 1" elastc with a buckle. Just under my arm pits rope between it and me. Simple and quick.

Here's the pic I was talking about. There is bungee cord attached INIDE the hollow of the rope. I made this one a few years ago. The whipping looks crappy because I did it at work one day.

Absolutely. You don't even notice it pushing up, and when you crunch up to bring your feet up, things stay out of the way~

I don't know if this would be competition-judge approved, though.

Ben Poteet used a similar strap in the masters challenge in charlotte, the judges seemed to approve, it looked like it worked too. What size bungee did you use? Great idea.
