Foot straps?

Has any one made any homemade footstraps, other than just using supple webbing? Maybe modified the webbing with something to keep an accessable opening for foot placement.
Or did you just buy one/some? Trying to get more into srt rope walking. Any pics(of foot straps specifically) or suggestions appreciated.

I might be able to get some pics later, but I've done 2 things..

1- Double or triple the webbing, then run several rows of lengthwise stitching. That does pretty good.

2- Use tubular webbing, then cut some plastic from a milk jug or slightly heavier plastic from somewhere, insert inside the tubular webbing, then sew.

Look in On Rope for suggestions. I've used fiber reinforced plastic tubing slipped inside tubular webbing for foot steps.

I just use a loop runner.

I'm like Kevin. I use loop runners and they work ok for me.

Old seatbelts workwell,ajust them the how long you need them.

I bought some 4mm cord at the marine store and tied it to my ascender and then tied a dbl bowline at the other end for my foot. It works great! I was only $3 and took about 3 minutes to make.
