Fo Shizll

Boomslang

Been here much more than a while

Stumbled across a some of their videos and they had me sold, so I ordered a couple of their rigging plates from TS today. The option of having a whoopie sling without actually having a whoopie sling is great and the balancer is super slick, I'll have to make me up one of those fo shizll :bailando:So many options with these plates.

I really like the balancer but with the whoopee or whatever you wanna call it, could you see and occasion with negative rigging that a momentary slack then a shock load could cause slipping of the shizll? Also the big plate or the little for the balancer?

The size of the plate will depend on your rigging rope you're using as the balancer legs. The small plate is for 1/2" and the big plate is for 9/16" and 5/8"

It's possible there could be slippage, but you could always throw a stopper knot in there.

Fo shizll Fo sure. Bam!!! Toughest part was trying to get the Prussic rite on the 9/16 rigging line. Didn't work so I rigged it with climbing line. Need to match rigging line with Prussic cordage them rebuild for higher weight ability but this will work for now.

Looks good - What would be your thoughts on using a blakes hitch? Only one eye for each leg on the carabiner possibly making less bulky in that area?

Maybe I misunderstood the post, I thought you had issues getting the hitch cord positioned - but it looks like you meant the length or diameter of the hitch cord didn't sync with the diameter of the rope used for the legs.
I was thinking of using a blakes hitch in place of the distel. I just received my Shizzle from TS - I'll rig mine up the way I see it in my head and put a picture up, easier than trying to explain....
