So the new guy found a water bar today, put the machine on its side. I wasn’t around to see it, but he was able to turn it off before it committed to the tipping point. We righted it fairly quickly, inspected for damage(none) and left for the day. Is there anything I should do tomorrow AM before we run it? It’s a gas engine, not positive model#/size…. Thanks.

I've flipped my Vermeer a couple of times, gas engine, I usually wait 30-45 mins then restart. Sometimes it runs a little rough at first with gas and oil in a couple of spots that it's not designed for, but it straightens out in a moment or two.

Be careful when you hit the key for the first time. Burp it in case you oil got into the top of the engine. Having oil in the cylinder and starting can lead to busting pistons etc. You can pull the plugs and pump out the oil. Be ready for a mess! Have lots of rags and absorbing stuff.
Think that could still be an issue after sitting prone for 20ish hours?

Yes..be careful with starting. To be super safe pull the coil wire...and ground it. Then bump the ignition key a few times to see if it turns over nice. Watch the exhaust. Check all fluid levels including hydraulic oil. Is there a way of pulling a sample of oils? At least pull the dipsticks and see if there are bubbles in the oil.

If things seem good. Connect the coil and be cautious with starting. Let it run at idle for a short time. Stop. Check fluid levels again.

I have flipped my ctx 100 twice. I let it sit overnight. Started right up no problem. Now my stump grinder a sc252 I lost count of how many times I ve rolled it. Usually pull the plugs and crank it to clear it out.
