Firewood Processors

Any views ont the firewood processors out their. I can't afford a Cord King so I'm looking at either a Timberwolf or a Built-rite with a conveyor. I currently have a timberwolf log splitter but I need something that can produce more.

I just started selling firewood about 2 years ago and sold about 10 cords this year, so I'm not at the prosseser stage yet but they do look awesome.
I was wondering if I should get a splitter with a 4 way wedge or not. Seems like it would be good in certain situations and not in others.

Hell yes you should get one. If it's a big gnarly piece with knots, take the 4 way wedge off. We actually use a six way wedge on on Timberwolf TW-5 and we also have the "table or shelf" thing that the wood gets pushed onto instead of falling to the ground. The table as I believe they call it is worth every penny. We also have a conveyor belt but I don't think it's worth it(or a processor) for you right now if you are only selling 10 cords a year so far. Where I live there are soo many people selling firewood it's pathetic.

I have the TW 5 with 6 way wedge as well. DO not have the table or conveyor. If I cant afford a processor, thinking about getting the table with conveyor. I'm sure I could sell 100 cords if I had the wood split.

That multitek is impressive! How may cords do you split a year?

I also have a TW-5 with the log lift and table grate. Well built machine that can turn out some firewood, the log lift is a real backsaver. I'd like to get a conveyer for it.

Thanks Jamin for posting the link. I'm sold on it. That would be ideal for me. I have long lenghts I deal with all the time. I always give the wood away to my different connections. After seeing that machine, I feel like I'm giving money away.
