What are your top two or three places to buy climbing gear?

Trade shows, because I can haggle <g>.

Sherrill, Wesspur, Mountain tools, and Western tree and landscaping.Only because they carry Climb High carabiners. Once in a while I'll order from Bailys, if I'm in a hurry.

Sherrill, Sherrril and Bailey's for chain. Use to get some other stuff from Bailey's that Tobe has finally started carrying (BugEyes for spiders). But, baileys is still complimenting piece for a Sherrill catalog,and has several sales a year, once you are on list.

i also concientiously try to by from local merchants, to encourage them to keep things on the shelf, just in case; for me or any of you brethren.

Not just because i've petitioned (for years on some) and helped them start up; but because i would like to think that i (who usually keeps backup lines anyway) or anyone else; will not feel like they have to take a chance with a line, when they can get a new 'stick' right now!

So many things work well if you just allow them to; including safety of having immediately available line.!
