Evaluator - who is Windy Ridge Corporation?

Do you have any further information on the workshop? A brochure etc.? I will post on the NEC-ISA website if so.

Thanks!

Windy ridge is a long time husky dealer/arborist supply company in Tamworth NH. That is where I get all my supplies that I don't order online. anyone that is nearby should show up. I guess the guys are going to be demonstrating various newer climbing techniques. It would be worth the drive just for the scenery and to find a great place for saw chain ($13 loops for my 371)As of lately they have been trying to step up their arborist supplies,if they get a pretty good turn out for this it might make them step it up to the next level.

Hey Matt,

Thanks for the info, very helpful! I went to check out their website for more info on them etc. but it's rather, well, umm...

Do you know if there's a flyer or brochure etc.?

Cheers.

Attached is an agenda for the class, though depending on who shows up we may changes things around a bit. We certainly have the ability to concentrate more on techniques that the participants are more interested in seeing.

The basic idea of the class is to go over a wide range of techniques and equipment in order to give as many options as possible to the climbers attending. For those who have not seen the F8 in action, this would be a good spot to check it out !!

I believe the cost of the class is $ 10.00 ,however, each participant will receive a $ 10.00 coupon off any equipment purchased or ordered the day of the class.

Spoke with the folks from Windy Ridge today. Very nice people and they seem excited to have a good workshop next weekend.

Just a quick warning to people coming in on NH Rte 25 throgh Tamworth. There's a speed trap just as you cross into Tamworth, where the speed drops from 55 mph to 35 mph for 0.4ths of a mile. Watch out for it!

I know because I was busted for speeding there last weekend. The cop was a real pr*ck about it too. First speeding ticket in over 25 years and the SOB wouldn't let me off with a warning. Have to pay $207.00 fine

It's not the fine that gets you, it's the increase in your insurance premium. Cross your fingers that your carrier doesn't find out. Some carriers have a grace policy for such things, too.

I just received a notice for a certified letter down at the post office from my insurance agent that I have to go pick up today.

That doesn't sound good.
