F*%^$#@ing Thieves.

Sorry to be real here, but, Why would you leave all that stuff in your truck and let your wife drive it to work and leave it unattended?

Man, no doubt. I practically live in that truck through the week, and the vehicle switch was last minute. Thank God I took out my files of confirmed work, etc. I should have taken out my briefcase from behind the seat with all the paperwork, but all the rest of that stuff stays in my truck full time--it is my mobile office, mechanic's shop, towtruck, photography studio, climbing gear storage, etc. It would cost me an hour of every day to unload and reload all the stuff I need. I can tell you an alarm is in order if I ever get it back, or buy another truck. Stupid me for leaving it in there, but I hope to trick my brain into continuing to trust people. I don't want to be that old crotchety paranoid loser that will never trust anyone.

NOEL! Oh my gosh. Erik just told me what happened, and then I found this post. I will keep a look out when ever I am driving around springfield. Your truck should be easy to ID! I hope the police find something. Damn, that sucks. If there is anything we can do for you, let us know, okay?

If they do catch the guy, just turn him over to your wife. I am sure she could destroy him in a very creative way.

Noel,

Sorry to hear about your truck. I just looked at your site a second ago. So here is something that may cheer you up. Don't forget to count your blessings. Even though your truck got ripped, you have one BAD team of guys working for you. Seriously,,,,,,,, who the hell has a main sail graduate/ isa certified arborist as their webmaster? (who can climb too) Having guys around you like that would no doubt help the company.
I wish I knew how you kept guys like that. I know i sure cant. What management book do I need to read?

Dang Noel. I can't relate the the monitary loss, but I can relate to how you're feeln'. It makes you no longer want to trust people. It makes you want to... well... shoot the bastids for violating your trust.--It sucks.

The other night, someone drove on my property at 12am, to steal firewood. They nearly got stuck in the mud (we've had a lot of rain over here). Since I sleep with ear plugs, I didn't hear anything. My wife hear something at the last minute, when they made a run for it. She said it was too late to bother waking me up. They got about 3 cubic feet of freshly split Siberian Elm, that was soaked from the rain. --Stupid people. I really could care less about the wood. It is my tools & equipment that I care about.

I'm gonna get dogs or a camera system. Camera systems don't poop, but dogs can be intimidating.
