experimental tree work

Nice work with the swing/hold/pull line oriented preperly against the lean!

Kudos also for your use of the tight line. It would not have been a fun ride of you'd been butt hitching that wicked red gum leaning top.
thankyou Roger, yes that was one evil noodle. we tested it with just a throw line installed and the movement at the crown was unnerving so a better?/more reasonable plan was devised.
that sugar gum was set by throw line and then felled with land cruiser assistance much easier than having to climb and dismantle.

It's the labor day weekend, we've been busy enjoying it! Hope all have been having a great weekend.
we just had a first peek at spring weather after a record setting cold wet winter so spirits are lifting here in Oz.
Have you looked into comfrey cream for your leg injury?, hope you are on the mend.

I have used it regularly for several years now after a crush injury to my left leg and foot. it is very soothing and cooling when applied, great for deep tissue inflammation, joint pain and bruising. in Oz a company named martin and pleasance sell it as a cream in a jar. I lifted this info from Wiki about it.
Comfrey (Symphytum officinale L.) is a perennial herb of the family Boraginaceae.
One of the country names for comfrey was ‘knitbone’, a reminder of its traditional use in healing bone fractures. Modern science confirms that comfrey can influence the course of some types of muscle and joint pain.
The allantoin contained in the plant is thought to help replace and thus repair cells in the body through its proliferant properties. Comfrey was used in an attempt to treat a wide variety of ailments ranging from bronchial problems, broken bones, sprains, arthritis, gastric and varicose ulcers, severe burns, acne and other skin conditions.
I hope it works as well for you as it did for myself.:)
