Any interest out there?
Come out to one of the most beautiful places in the country. The ocean and the mountains are just an hour away, the temp rarely gets over 80 degrees or lower then 40. Yeah, it rains some but it beats hot and humid days. We have two food co-ops, a thriving art and music scene, and your only an hour from Seattle and 1.5 hrs to Portland.
Come climb 150' firs and have three day weekends to do what you want. Anyone?

PM sent.

Thanks Tom. I found a great climber who has worked for Seattle Tree Preservation the last couple of years so I feel pretty lucky. It is so nice to not have to train someone from the ground up.

Hello Greg--

This is Sean with South Sound Tree and Landscape, also in Olympia. Just thought I'd introduce myself, as I've seen your crew out before, but we've not met. Good luck in finding a climber.

I'm running a small crew. We just finished a job that was maybe too big for us, in the sense of I sure wish to have had more hands on deck. I figure it never hurts to say hello, and at different times, different people might have need for an extra climber for a job.

Also, I have a friend that hauls relatively inexpensively with a F800 with a knuckleboom with a long reach, plus a long winchline. He can haul logs up to 24', and has a friend with a bandsaw mill for lumber, planer and shaper (can make t-and-g maple floorin moulding, etc). If either of these services can be useful to you, I can give him your number. We just took out a few loads of firewood and saw logs off a 145' fir and a big fir with phellinus pini. He's a good operator, and does some quality welding for a reasonable price, also.

Hi Sean,
Thanks for the introduction. I've heard of your business and hope all is going well.
I would appreciate you giving my name to your friend with the knuckleboom since sometimes I do need someone to haul logs out. I usually use Dennis Sharp who is very good but sometimes he is too busy. Anyways, it would be great to meet you someday and best of luck.
