POSITION: Mobile Crane Operator

The Davey Tree Expert Company has opportunities in the field of Urban Forestry, as a mobile crane operator. Davey is a leader in the Residential-Commercial tree care, utility line clearing and forestry consulting industries, throughout the US and Canada.
POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Charlotte, North Carolina
JOB DUTIES: Positions involve operating a mobile crane during tree removal on customer properties. Responsible for crane use and crew safety when removing trees on residential and commercial properties. Assist in all job functions as a member of the crew.
QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of two (2) years crane operating experience and training which provides the necessary crane operations skills, knowledge and abilities is required. Experience in Tree Removal is preferred
The incumbent must:
Be able to read, understand and use crane load charts to determine load and radius capabilities of cranes.
Have general knowledge of construction rigging – use of slings, cable chokers, multi-part load blocks, etc.
Be capable of successfully passing a crane operations certification test.
*Must Have a CDL *
