Evaluation of Rigging Techniques article

Using the light points to analyze the trajectory was interesting. I'd like to be able to see the movement of the climber when the piece hit 'bottom'. How much force was on the climber's knees/hips/back because of the slam-dunk load?

Seeing that the max load wasn't at the very bottom of the fall was something that I would never have guessed.

Arborist News takes 4 years to get here, so i'll let you know.....does sound good though.

Anyone read the article by Andreas Detter in Arborist News about the evaluation of forces generated in snatching a piece? Great info, well done, cool stuff.

I've got it in Word, but it's an early version of the article. I'll see if I can get a PDF of the published version to put here on TBzz.

See my post below for a link to the article.

Actually, no.

Seems the UK tax payer is just expected to fund these studies.

Thanks for the heads up.
