equipment to be put on Truck?

so I got my first truck and bandit chipper. 10 years of saving for it. anyways I when I was apprentice a long 15 years ago I could remember some important things to put on the truck. but I wanted to know from all of you what you take a regular tree job so I can make sure I have everything. example: first aid kit, tool box with some tools, shovel to dig yourself out if getting stuck. pitch fork, pole pruner, extra gas, anything else im missing.

One thing that's nice about my pickup is that it has a constant hot cig lighter, I can have whatever charging without the engine running. For household power outages, that's where we charge our flashlights, phones, computers or what ever else needed.

All my trucks carry the following.
Saws
Polesaw
Pull stick
Spill kit
First aid kit
Fire extinguisher
Knapsack
Recovery kit
Shovel
Rakehoe
Leaf rake
Herbicide
Fuel and oil
Signs and cones
Small tool kit
plug spanner and files
A rope for emergency lowering, pull rope etc
Helmet charger
Phone charger
Toilet paper

Adding to the lists:
Chaps
Extra hardhat
Extra safety glasses
Extra gloves
Spare chain(s)
Tool bag (wrenches, etc, for field repairs on equipment) - probably what you meant in OP.
You had shovel for digging - also a scoop shovel for cleanup.
Broom
Wedges
Wheel chocks
Handsaws

This hasn't touched on climbing and rigging bags...those have their own posts!

I like having a minimal tool box after a while of shlepping too much extra crap around. Big enough sockets and wrenches for chipper, adjustable, vise grips, electrical tape etc. Spill kit is a really good point @Scheffa and fire extinguisher of course. My equip goes through various fluids, funnel is used often. Climbing and rigging is up to you, extra throwbag setup is handy tho.

Paper towels. Lots of them. I stuff about four rolls behind the seat. In a pinch, they're a little rough, but can work for ya' if the TP runs out.

Well apparently I can’t post pictures again but the Garrett metal detector (wand style) has sure saved me a lot of wrecked chains. I keep it under the seat and use it on the low trunks of trees we remove around houses. It won’t pick up metal deep in the tree but locates nails and whatnot in the outter few inches. Considering what a36” chisel chain costs it has paid for itself countless times.

@pacifichedge Would you post a pic of your new rigs?

On some small capacity dump trucks there is precious little cubic space left for tool storage. The cubic storage need for basic gear...harness, ropes, basic rigging gear can fill some toolboxes. Then where does the TP and toolbox go? Maybe a topic for a new thread...
