ELIOS VIZION anyone?

Ordered a black ELIOS VIZION, anyone got pros and cons?

I hear the Vizion's a-bit uneasy to install.
Think I'm gonna love the stowed position when not in use.
The wind and/or lack thereof mixed with sawdust is really
bug'n me aloft or buck'n wood.

I believe that it's a foam-lined shell, like the Petzl Meteor. That would be pretty hot IMO.

It is foam lined, and they are warmer.

That shield is AWESOME though!

It appears to be a retrofit, but without seeing the actual brackets, it's hard to tell if it'd be adaptable to other helmets.

Hrmm drilling into my hardhat doesn't seem like a good idea but if petzel say its alright I might look into it. But just because this one says its ok doesn't mean its ok for the vertex.

Since they only list the Meteor and Elios, I'd not get your hopes up on the Vertex. If it were compatible, I'm sure they'd push it.

WEll good luck and if I could use vented helmets, that would be on my list of things to get.

I have had an Elios helmet for a few years and love it. It is extremely light and the foam doesn't make it hot or any warmer than other helmets I've worn.

Let us know how it works out with the vizion.
