Ego chainsaw

My stepson has EGobrand everything. So when he decided to get a chainsaw he bought an Ego brand. He said the only chain that works on it is Ego brand. I thought that was hard to believe, but know nothing about the brand. Anybody know much about the saw(s) they make?

I know nothing about those saws either, but I would be very surpriser if it was true that the only saw that fits was their own. Most likely, Oregon makes the bar and chain for those, since they make almost all the others. It may be an odd length, but I am sure I saw shop could make you a replacement chain.

Home Depot, worked there and saw their propaganda on the electric equipment such as EGO chain saws and leaf blowers. Strictly for the homeowner.

Btw, what kind of reviews are the EFI carbs getting that Husqavarna and Stihl have been using?
