Editing Software

What kind of editing software do you guys use? I have a contour hd helmet cam last spring. Seems like we're getting a lot more rain days lately so I want to start putting some videos together.

I use Windows Live Movie Maker. It is free but you can't do much with it. May be a good way to start though.

I agree. Movie Maker is a good way to start.

When I was searching for more complex, but yet simple to understand software, I chose Cyberlink PowerDirector.

I chose it because I noticed that it is ususally at the top for editing software reviews (annually).
