Edelrid static line- any reviews?

Has anyone bought the sale spools from treestuff? If so, what line would you compare it to?

I just got into static lines, and would like to own something longer than 100'. I am using 11mm htp and have tried 11mm kern master, and I like both, so if it compares to either, I'd be happy.

If its the power static then its like a bungee cord , I use it for a year or two for just access and its really not ideal.

Thanks for the heads up. I compared the elongation specs between that and the safety super, and it looks like ss has less bounce than ps, so that may be an option. Have you or anyone else tried safety super?

My plan is to make something like a triple threat, only with a butterfly tied in the middle of a long line and connected to a d-link with a second line tied to the link.

You're probably better off getting something like htp if you want a static line , its fairly cheap too.

Yeah, that's my fallback. I was hoping that the discounted edelrids at treestuff would work out, but you're right, htp is fairly inexpensive, and I do enjoy climbing on it.
