That old crane was in Mad Max 2, I'm sure of it.

I know very little about cranes, is this a good crane? I was helping a friend out moving some timber and he hired in this crane to lift the timber over the wall.

In pic 3, what is the jib thing at the side of the lower boom for and how does it work? It's not a stinger type extension is it?

The piece of timber going into the trailer was 5 ton

excellant machine for urban tree work. 55-60 ton capacity. very maneuverable. good chart for its size. swing around boom extension pins on end of main boom for added tip height. i notice that the machine has only fixed counterweights on, maybe travel restrictions where you are. capacity would be greatly reduced without full counterweight.
