Well, it's not a double linesman knot... now quite right for a double alpine butterfly... it's not a Spanish Bowline... I give up.
Just call it the "double whatchamajigger knot" and be done with it.

No, there are two fixed loops, just like an alpine butterfly.

Well, I'm all out of ideas for double loop knots. I'd go searching on the Googlizer or BoobTube but I've decided that since I only occasionally remember how to tie my shoes, I probably wouldn't use the knot, anyway.

Not saying it's a super useful knot... One thing I could think of is attaching a climb line in each loop to use 3 lines with only one line anchored. Perfect loading for this knot, as the tails are neaely parallel inside the first part of the knot.

Also a perfect 3-leg spider rig point without hardware. I like this, a lot.

Yes, completely stable, haven't done any testing though. The friend that showed me also thinks it's acceptable for life support using any of the loops or ends. He is more qualified than I am too.
