These things are awesome. I hate wrapping with the lower strap. I've tried all the current options. These are only slightly more expensive than the other options but totally worth it if you've ever pierced the bottom of a new gear bag when the leather gaff guards broke through. These things fit snug. So snug it's hard to get them on the first few times. I don't foresee them ever breaking but if one should there is a lifetime guarantee thru which treestuff will replace them.

I will second that. I thought for sure that they weren't going to fit on my bashlins but they do and they are snug. I'm impressed.
