Don't look too happy on the job...

@Crash, If it's not too much of a derail, I'd like to hear how that happened. Cautionary tales, and such. Were you in the tree when it happened?

Thanks in advance for any answers you choose to give.

Tim (Not the one who broke Crash's leg.)
Hey Tim, you actually replied to my post during that shitty time. It's been an emotional and physical roller coaster these past 9 months, but things are looking up, more importantly I'm looking down again... from the tree tops.

@Crash; Thanks for the link. I had forgotten about that thread.

I'm really happy for you that your body has healed itself well enough for you to be able to climb again. Did you manage to get your old job back, or did you have to find a new company to work for?

Really great news.

Tim

Thanks Tim, It was a lousy way to go out with the company and I was pretty unhappy there a lot of the time. The company portrays themselves as this "green" "friendly" "safe" outfit but that couldn't be further from the truth. I was not safe, a couple guys were a-holes with a capital A, over fertilized near water, waste chips etc. I had never felt so disposable, and then they said they didn't want me back on the tree crew but they needed turf guys (talk about being kicked while already down). I don't need a "tissue for my issue" and in retrospect quitting there was the better move.
I'm back to being self employed again, and have been lucky enough to work a little with Mark Prezkurat who's on the Buzz. I learned more in one week (safely I might add) with Mark than I did in 2 months with the other company.

Sorry for the derail...There
