dogs of treebuzz

I got this cool dog this summer, Henk. He came to work a lot and liked to guard the van and meet the clients. He died suddenly so we couldn't help getting another one, she's learning to guard the van now!
I don't have a dog (or pets; I traveled way too much).
Lot's of the neighbors walk their dogs on my1 mile dead-end street.
My drive is ~250' from the house.
I keep a plastic bag of dog biscuits in the mail box for treats to "well-behaved" dogs, when I'm out near the street.

The dogs, obviously, like it.
Makes for easy, quick contact with the neighbors.

He's passed on now, but this is Danger (we thought it'd be funny to name a black pitbull Danger) it was comical when utility contractors were walking the easement along our property and he'd run at them to be petted and we'd be chasing him yelling Danger Danger! Lol. More than one contractor was ready to run for the truck.

We found him wandering the property half starved (first pic) a month or two before my daughter was born. He filled out quickly with plenty of food and she grew to love him.

He suffered a neck injury while boarded during a vacation which ultimately lead to him passing last year. My daughter, now 6 years old, is still heartbroken and begs for him to come back. The blanket is a Christmas present for her this year, we're hopeful that cuddling with him will help ease her pain.
