DMM Harness

So while in recovery from this year's food coma today (Boxing Day) I decided to play around with mounting an ISC Nessie on my DMM Harness. I've tried Teuf's K1Keeper and while it's nifty for the lanyard, I found it took up a bit too much real estate for me (but was very handy) - recognizing at times I seem to take up everythng but the kitchen sink and it looks like hook city back there.
I had to fashion a little mounting plate for Nessie from an old PVC luggage case stiffener (lacking any access to coveyor belt material). Fiddled a bit getting Nessie's clip thru the plastic slots cut into the "plate" (the bottom one ended up being a rectangle shape for Nessie's screw-in connector fitting bit) and just used some shock cord I had kicking around for attachment to the Kinisi and voila. Checked for any rubbing on any of the PPE webbing bits but they are in the clear.
I think I like this arrangement for now, as it takes far less real estate for when I don't use it much (on those long lanyard days) but it worked like a charm for stowage on the way up otherwise. Cheers all and all the best for the New Year.

in augsburg they showed a droptest with the kinisi adjustable bridge and the cam took a couple of bites out of the bridge until it broke the cover. they said it was‘nt a prblem since the dyneema core was strong enough. i wonder if the length is needed to absorb the impact and if a shorter bridge might snap earlier.
This video came out a couple days ago on the KInisi Adjustable Bridge testing. This would probably argue, based on the cam clearances depicted, for using only DMM bridge cord for the adjustable bridge in case of replacement, which would of course argue for having these widely available from vendors on an ongoing basis as a wear item. Right DMM??? (At time of writing this, only a few vendors seem to have them in stock/ available). Just a thought. Cheers all.
