I remember seeing some DMM stuff on "How It's Made" on the Science channel a while back. I thought that was great.

This video is even better. For the amount of hands that touch a single biner they seem like they'd be a deal at twice the price.

I guess everybody knows that DMM stands for Denny Moorhouse Mountaineering?

We met the "Wizard Of Iron" in Milwaukee at the ISA conference about a decade ago. Some tipping of pints was happening at the Hilton bar. He said he wished he had patented the figure 8.

At the time, there were 2 other forges located in Wales besides DMM. The others were Clog & Denny's firm, ISC (International Safety Corporation).
