difficult access

Crane work is "rigging " work also. It is doing it with different equiptment. The climber who can rig with or with out a crane is much better off when approaching a tree. Neither one is better for every situation, but knowing both makes it safer.
I use my crane for trees that dont need one because I have it and it is faster and easier. That doesnt mean I forgot or dont pursue new ways to rig trees without it. I will always look to expand my knowledge in multiple directions.

We will never lose the art of rigging. We just change the equipment we use to do it.

Its good to see that the passion is still their for rope rigging as it is the life blood of our industry, if i owned a crane i would use it all the time.
Thanks for the reply chopper as i sad before i was not having a dig i was just wondering what the limitation to rope rigging was considering the lenght you went to to get a crane in to the site.
