Cyber Bully or just plain A-Hole?

Steve we've spoke before in that I personally thought you'd gone way too far with this stuff both through the pm and a thread that got deleted right after I posted. It seems also that in starting this thread, full well knowing how it would evolve, might well seem histerical to some but quite devious to others.
So what really happened at work....did you indeed get disciplined or was it just something to laugh about? I would assume then that its the latter as if indeed it was the first then they surely wouldn't act without just cause (proof) i.e. by reading through the threads and actually siding with Daniel....
So why really start the thread?....and please dont quote the thread title as an answer.
Would it not have been better to call Daniel in person?
If he had p.m'd complained to you instead of your empoyers would you have also copied his message and posted it here?

I actually didn't see the email for a few days after he sent it to the office. After reading the contents of the email, I concluded that Daniel's intent was indeed devious. No, I did not receive any discipline, as my employers see my Treebuzz activity as extracurricular and not associated with my employment.

Because I can. And because Daniel is a big boy, capable of defending himself. I posted in the Treefree zone as well, so that only the people who sign in can read this, not all the lurkers. What I've found Reg, is that I don't take things very seriously that don't need to be taken seriously. In a room full of people, there is always one or two people who can't stand my antics and see me for what I really am - a world class A-Hole. I think you might view me through that lens.

As for not taking things too seriously, well quite the contrary I think you know exactly what you're doing....and dressing it up with some phony title only makes it worse.
But if I really had to pick you definitely nailed the Cyber Bully part....and if not already then the purpose of this thread leaves very little doubt. There are plenty ways to get a laugh and be popular, doesn't have to always be at another mans expense.

Yeah, well, I see this as a high tech form of natural selection taking its inevitable course of weeding out arboreal bozos underhanded and cowardly enough to e-mail his foes employer because he got his azz handed to him online.
Anyone pretentious enough to call 90 percent of his fellow arborists less educated than his royal azz, deserves what's comin to him. And this thread is just what he deserves, in my humble ignorant opinion.

The way I see it, Daniel is lucky it is staying within this forum. What if his words actually meant something to someone and SZ really did lose pay or even get terminated over this and couldn't feed his family because of it? Emailing his employer is a cowardly move and I see this thread as a way of calling him out. Still waiting for him to man up though. We all want the true definition of be-smudge being used in this manner.
