cut resistant rope lanyard

In my new TCIA magazine, I have seen an advertisement for a new
Tritech 11 flipline from sterling rope.
They say it is cut resistant.
Anyone tried it?
And where can you buy it?

Thanks, norm.
Do you know anyone who has tried it ?

I have some on order and will let you know more when I see them.

Both the lanyards and the raw cordage... will be fun to do some testing ala the classic youtube video.

My thought was that it could be a better option for use around Silkys than standard rope lanyards?

I have seen the cordage. Not much different from other Sterling products. Firm hand, tight weave. The cut resistance come from a netting of Kevlar like material (can't remember starlings proprietary name) that surrounds the core.

It is important to note: that if hit with a handsaw the cordage does cut and is severely compromised. However, unlike other materials, it is less likely to part. So like saw chaps it gives you that little bit of extra that may lesson the severity of an already bad situation.

There is some talk of a possible bridge made in a similiar fashion.
