Crown Restore

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5yyP32QwanE

Its either a crown restore or a preclean up for removal...I geuss we will see.
This lady had issues in the backyard they made these two topped ash trees look safe!
I told her to cut them all down but she wanted them trimmed.
I removed all the broken limbs/dead limbs/ and stubs....
Am I proud of the way they turned out? Not really

Comments from the peanut gallery will be taken with grain of salt on this one.

Nice dude. Topped Ash can be a real challenge, especially the look of those beasts. I'm sure she was happy though, they looked much better and safer. Glad to see your working bro.

Thanks Andy. She has a huge mulberry in the back yard that is split right down the middle. I am sure we will be back. I cant wait to see what happens with the leaders I left in the ash tree after monsoon season.

DuuuuuuuuuuuuuDE....what a mess of a tree. I give you props for the attempt. Definately would like to see those trees in a year or two. So many cuts to rehab that tree---it should have come down. I guess you have to make the customer happy--she ought to know her tree is slowly on its way out in more ways than one.

Reminds me of a job I did last spring. Client had 3 pignut hickories topped about 10 years ago, had me come in to take the tops off again.. I can't stand looking at the work now, and certainly didn't like doing it at the time.
