Crew Leader and Tree Climber Positions

Shearon Environmental Design is a company known for outstanding quality and customer service. We are located in the Plymouth Meeting area and are looking for full time experienced climbing arborists and crew leaders. If you are honest, hardworking, self-motivated, dependable, and would like to work with a positive team of tree care professionals that enjoy working in a safe outdoor environment and can meet the following requirements;

REQUIREMENTS:

• Verifiable rope and saddle tree climbing, pruning, removal and rigging experience

• Experience operating chainsaws, aerial lift trucks, skid steer, stump grinder, etc

• Valid driver’s license, CDL preferred

• Clearly and respectfully communicate with all crew members and clients

• Minimum 2 years of experience

• Experience leading tree crew, Crew leader requirement 1 year+

• Experience in maintaining a safe and productive work site, Crew leader requirement

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, CDL required for Crew Leader

• Must pass a pre-employment substance screening exam

• Must pass a pre-employment physical exam

• Must pass a company administered basic driving test

• Must be willing and able to work in all outdoor weather conditions all year round

• Must be willing and able to work 40 hours or more per week when requested

• Certified Arborist Crew Leader requirement

• Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays when requested

• Work with Arborist and Certified Tree Safety Professional

• Training towards ISA Arborist Certification
