Crane Removal Time-Lapse

http://youtu.be/86zuxjX2ZaQ

Time-lapse of 2 cottonwoods we took down this spring. Interesting shot watching the front of the crane. It is moving up and down as the crane swivels. It was a spring day, ground was a little soft but not too bad. If I remember right the to left outrigger cribbing was partially in a mulched bed. Is it normal to have movement like this? Were we on the edge of disaster? Could it be solved by extra cribbing? I'm by no means a expert on cranes or cribbing as I subcontract it out. The op handles his own setup and I have never questioned it.

It did look like it was dancing a bit...more towards the trunk. Not familiar with the model but did notice it is mounted behind the axels rather than over to top. That alone will give a bit more movement to the chasis. Imo you were alright...prolly could have cribbed a bit more being in soft ground and in a flower bed. The drivers side front didnt look like it had a lot of cribbing to it.

Edit to add...with the hill was the op able to get the right rear tires off the ground? That can be a pita sometimes and lead to more movement than normal.
