Cold Snap

Anyone else getting this cold weather. The mercury dropped to -42 last night and the recovery is forcasted as slow. We have lots of work booked from last fall but can not do it because of the cold and snow. This is getting frustrating.

We're still getting it in the Sault.
I have a few removals lined up also and I'm just waiting for a break in the weather.
I hung a rope last weekend when the temperature climbed to the freezing mark.

Yeah, this cold weather is rough. Only 80* today after several days above 85* this week. Here's a picture (from Thursday's newspaper) of a poor freezing girl in a halter top over at Daytona for Bike Week.

I've got to move to Florida. I don't think I would still be climbing though. You couldn't get me up a palm tree. Maybe be a bouncer at that bar in the picture.

Went out today to try and do some work at -27 with the wind chill. The temp was not all that bad, we had to call it a day after 2 hrs due to the snow. Pulling a brush pile out of a back yard with 2.5ft of snow was just not happening. I guess I am gonna have to sit on my rear for another week.

the coldest day we had here in s.ee virginia was about 15 degrees i think and that was only one day. we had a blizzard of 2" of snow and it shut down the tree work. ahhhh but it was 73 yesterday, little above the usual normal for the area.
