No I wish...would be simpler. This tree doesn't have a strong limb above this side branch. And no good drop zone right under. Can you set two TIPs in the tree?

Tie into that actual limb. You'll hang below the limb and cut the end off. Once you reach your TIP you'll likely want your lanyard on your lower dees if you have them and tighten it up to get you a little higher than the length of your bridge and multicender. Unless you have an adjustable bridge you could cinch up. Lower dees are much more comfortable to hang from.No I wish...would be simpler. This tree doesn't have a strong limb above this side branch.
Love the smile on his face. Here’s something I have done, stole this idea from a Johnny pro video. I call it a long floating redirect. He called it same or similar, View attachment 88860
The only thing about this is that it's a fixed point and no lateral movement (other than swing). So to advance, I'd have to come down, reset the position of the anchor point by 10 feet and reclimb vs a pulley to move along a line. But I'd only have to do that once, maybe twice, so it's not a huge deal. A very interesting option...I may setup a test to try this method this week.It doesn’t sag as much as a single high line. And can be adjusted at the base anchor if you have a petzl rig (what I use) or an eye to eye hitch would probably suffice.
Johnny pro was using it with his twin rope technique. I use it srt
With a pulley you will immediately go to the point of your lowest sag in the highline, although I think you mentioned a hitchcord being involved,, so maybe not. It’s just been my experience that ropes are not as cooperative in real life as they are on paper. I’ve had the groundman adjust my tie in point with the petzl rig at the redirects base anchor with some success. Looking forward to seeing your solution(s) to this tree puzzle. The only thing about this is that it's a fixed point and no lateral movement (other than swing).
