Small tree care company in Stamford Connecticut, requires a climber.
Responsibilities:
follow safety policies and procedures.
ability to work as part of a team.
have a high level of client communication.
willingness to learn and teach.
hauling, chipping brush and branches.
use equipment such as chainsaws, pole saws, rigging equipment, stump grinder and chipper.
maintain equipment and gear to ensure safe and efficient operations.
be able to properly assess and prune trees.
haul equipment to and from site.
must have strong work ethic.
Skills:
climbing experience is a must preferably three years experience or more.
must be able to direct crews and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Connecticut arborist license preferred or the ability to get one within 6 months of employment.
ISA certification a plus but not essential.
preferably have a clean driving record and valid drivers license.
Remuneration:$20 to $30 per hour depending on experience.
