Cliff side speedline.

This was an interesting job we did.

Tree removals at the top of a cliff.

I call it a cliff anyway, we don't have mountains here, so this is a cliff to us.

Maybe 200 vertical feet up? Our speedline total length of cable and rope about 285 feet. (But anchor up hill was farther up than work area and this was not vertical distance of course).

Anyway, neat historical site.

Take trees down at top of cliff, run all the material down a speedline/zip-line to the bottom and clean-up. Can't let logs and material fall down the cliff, because it is terraced with old stone walls the the owners want intact.

Here's a few pictures. Maybe later a short video coming on Youtube soon. It'll be our first video on youtube.

Here is an attachment of a diagram giving you the idea of whats going on.

alright, can someone tell me if they are able to see these attachments?

I can't view them, so I checked another persons post and I can't view attachments there either.

so is it the treebuzz site, or is it my connection?

can anyone see these? If so, I'll attatch more.

alright, so there is a temporary problem with the buzz website.

I'll post more pictures later when it's fixed.

thanks for responding NO ONE.

Actually, Nick did over PM, thanks Nick.

But to all you punks out there that read this and clicked on the attachments and didn't respond

I wasted a lot of time on this trying to figure out what's wrong. Thanks for the help. Like CMW.

Tom,

thank you very much for informing me.

Wow! cool. Jerry put it on there and everything!

I didn't know.

I'll just continue adding info, anwering questions and probably respond to criticism (can't post something without some) on Jerry Buzz Video post then.

I cant wait to see the pics. I watched the video and thought you guys did an amzing job. How much did those loads typicaly weigh? I thought that the truck could have been loaded at the same time but its easy to be a back seat tree job driver...especialy just watching it online. Did you pull the loads apart and chipp them?
Cool stuff!

Soon very soon it will be all right.

Otherwise I enjoyed the video. Quite impressive footage.Look forward to when you can post up the pic's.

I relate to the frustration and all that waste of time. Whew!

There's no sense in having two posts on the same story, so this one is ending here.

Jerry B started one in buzzbuster videos, so I'll post some still pictures there. see it titled Arbor-X in action.

No more posting here.

Looks like the attachment problems are fixed on this forum!
