Clean up machine. Is there one? If no, why isn't someone making it? Or are they....

Picture a ride on or stand on lawn mower with a bagger, but purpose built to run over and bag up tree cleanup mess. One pass, and it's clean. That is what I want. Don't want to pick it up and put it in a bin, or scoop it up and put it in a truck/dump trailer. I understand that those work, but that's not what I'm looking for.

Have you considered talking to one of the companies that makes parking lot vacuums? I've seen some videos of after concert cleanup and there's some pretty amazing machines out there. There's a big machinery market in beach cleanup as well, though they have the added advantage of an easily sifted medium.

On a smaller note, I'm getting a mental picture of the larger Ventrac with the grass collection bin on the back, coupled with a modified flail mower. Less width, more depth. Perhaps a spiked rake roll, feeding into a flail chamber. Imagine the sweepster mentioned above, but instead of a collection chamber after the broom it feeds the flail section, which feeds into the collection box or into the vacuum hose that goes to the rear bin.

I want chippable debris bags! .. the wm bagsters used to be pretty strong now they leave me wondering why they blow out so quickly.
Bagsters are meant to be a one time use thing. Fill and to the dump. I use them all the time and if i can get ten uses out of one the $3 per job is easily accounted for.

Probably not the answer you're looking for but for a practical solution consider hiring retired guys. Many a retiree are hard working, reliable, bored, just looking for a reason to get out of the house, & not interested in any of the skilled/technical aspects of job. It will be a treat just to be inside the cones of a worksite.
There you go Tom. Career resurrection.

I hear you and I'm with you on the price and what they accomplish for what they cost. Just stating the fact that they used to hold up much better is all. I bet they figured the bags were overconstruted for a proposed 1 time use thing... wish I could find a similar thing not meant to be chucked but used for good while , maybe a season at least. I have about 5 bagsters in circulation all at different points in their lifespans. Big holes in them its for big debris , small holes small debris.. love to be able to chip the old ones when I want.. maybe I'll reach out to some hemp farmers I know and see if I can make the chippable debris bags a reality

Look into Monsta Bags. It's a reusable supersack with a drop out bottom for unloading if you have the height to "dump" it.

That's kind of what I envisioned.

Though, there could be a much less complicated way. Like a some sort of spinning tines of different sizes that just kick the debris into a holder without even grinding it up. Or just grinds up what is too stringy to make it through. Like one of those leaf bagger things people drag behind lawn mowers, but somehow outfitted to this purpose. Could even be powered by the wheels when you drag it like one of those old school mowers..... For smaller debris maybe some kind of vacuum element. Idk I'm just spitballing
