Surprised I haven't heard more about this. Saw it on a YouTube video and went looking. Kinda looks like the Big Dan steel crab.

Anyone have one?

It looks exactly like a Big Dan. I really like the shape of the ISC Wizard; the 70Kn one.

Had em for a while now, the enamel? chips off in a hurry otherwise no real complaints mainly use the red one for light rigging since we always have rotating ground staff just makes life simpler. Have choked off and came down on spars with green once floppable still not my favorite thing to do but really nice for in anything sappy

I’ll sometimes choke with a carabiner for rigging but prefer a snap.
Never choke for lifesupport with a carabiner I’ve seen them open up and rather have something more secure.
Totally looks like a rebranded big dan

I’ve broken two of them myself….
Actually quite proud of that. One the trilock opened and the carabiner twisted nearly 20 degrees, the other the gate also opened and twisted just enough it wont fully close.
How much do you weigh? Just kidding. I'm hoping you were rigging lol.

If I decide to use one of these it would be the green for cinched canopy ties. I'm kind of set in my running bowline ways for rigging.

I do want to clarify that I, like Levi, do not set a biner choke remotely; gotta be able to verify orientation.

I have found that leaving my fingernails as long as I can tolerate has helped a lot with my dexterity through gloves, especially with the slic pins

I frequently use something besides a finger as a tool for the release.

A twig will work, if available.
Isn’t there a tool for this? If not one can easily be made. A blind hole matching the diameter of the pin to compress the detents and push the pin at the same time?
Maybe it is just something a user came up with here and posted a long while back.

These don't fit the new slic pins without modification, but it's ez-pz. old pins were slightly smaller so you just need to pop out the spring and sand down the inside by a bit. I like mine, but really need to get a recoil lanyard to hold it
