Chipper Blades

Where are you guys buying chipper blades, nuts/bolts, and anvils these days. Bandit is forcing us to go through a local Bobcat Dealer and shipping is ridiculous.

Isn't it Simonds, or some such, knives that are great quality steel? I'll check when I get home and Google distributors for them.

They're were some knives cheaper in the last year's but people were reporting performance issues due to poor quality steel.

Appreciate the responses.

Looks like Simonds and Bandit blades are available on Amazon for the same price with free shipping. As long as they're legit that should be good. Amazon is the king of counterfeits though.

Chipper bolts and nuts 12 of each...Bandit wants over $100 before shipping. That sounds ridiculous to me. Couldn't Fastenal produce something equally as good?

I’ve been buying knives from America’s Cutting Edge. Used about 7 sets so far and the steel
Quality is good.

Only problem I had was that one of the sets (purchased) a few months ago) had a few “dings” on the blade edge. It appeared that they were handled improperly and possibly dropped on a hard surface??

We buy knives from Gap Arborist Supply; Ray stocks Simonds at reasonable prices, and I know they’re real, not counterfeit like Amazon might be. Bolts we get from the hardware cabinet in the shop, we replenish that from an online hardware supplier, I forget where right off.
